SAM Art Carnival

The Singapore Art Museum throws open its doors for a free, full-day art carnival marking SAM's 30th anniversary. Families can drop in to hands-on craft stations — hair-accessory decorating, watercolour spray painting, bookmark colouring, pencil-case personalising, origami and a still-life drawing studio — plus registered workshops in beading, cyanotype and punch needle.

There's also face painting, fan stamping, carnival games with prizes, and live performances including busking and a magic-and-bubble show. Admission is free, and all SAM exhibitions are free to enter during the carnival. The first 300 visitors receive a limited-edition SAM30 clicker with a stamp card.
