Race to Sustainability 2026 — Weekend Workshops at Gardens by the Bay

A weekend lineup of hands-on sustainability workshops at Gardens by the Bay's Active Garden, part of the 10th-anniversary Race to Sustainability weekend fair. Sessions run across the Ficus Room and Waterfront Plaza on 24 and 25 October 2026, each with its own age range, price and registration:

• Therapeutic Horticulture: Scents of the Garden (Sat 1:30–3pm, age 12+, $10 donation) — craft incense cones from aromatic plants. • Our Warming Planet (Sat 4–5pm, age 5+, $28) — climate-change storytelling and microgreen planting, then air-dry clay garden accessories. • Repair Discovery (Sat 1–5pm, drop-in 20-min sessions, all ages, free, no registration) — supervised repair tasks like fixing plugs and reassembling table fans. • A Labour of 'Laksa' Love (Sun 10–11:30am, age 12+, $10 donation) — National Geographic Explorer Max Han traces Singapore's Siglap laksa from ocean to bowl. • ConservaClay (Sun 12–1pm, age 5+, $15) — sculpt Gardens wildlife from air-dry clay while nature-journaling. • Therapeutic Horticulture: Colours of the Garden (Sun 1:30–3pm, age 5+, $10 donation) — botanical handkerchiefs using plant-pounding techniques. • Tiny Garden Heroes: An Insect Expedition (Sun 4–5:30pm, age 8+, $35) — a guided insect expedition through the Active Garden.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at every session. Most workshops require pre-registration via Eventbrite (linked per session on the event page); Repair Discovery is walk-in.
