Step into the heart of Portuguese culture with a free day of delicacies, performances, workshops and film at Flower Field Hall. The family highlight is the Art & Storytelling Workshop 'The Sea That Unites Us' (9.30am–11am) — a sea-inspired painting activity exploring marine conservation and the ocean ties between Portugal and Singapore, paired with a children's story told in both Portuguese and English.
The rest of the day brings traditional Portuguese folk dance by the Eurasian Association Dance Troupe (Malhão, Malhão, at 12pm and 3pm), food and wine tasting (pastel de nata, Portuguese cheeses and cured ham, 12pm–5pm), bilingual poetry readings, and two film screenings. Entry to Flower Field Hall is via the Group Entrance next to Flower Dome.
