NLB School Holiday Programmes — Free Kids Activities Island-wide
by National Library Board (NLB)

About this Activity
The National Library Board runs over 100 free programmes for children and teens at library branches across Singapore every school holiday — and they're consistently underrated by parents who haven't discovered them yet. The June 2026 line-up includes baby lapsit sessions for infants and toddlers, bilingual storytelling in English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil, slime science and sound workshops, coding introductions, BeeBot robotics, and 3D art creation.
Programmes are designed for specific age groups — from babies and toddlers right through to teens — and take place at neighbourhood libraries islandwide, making them accessible wherever you live. Most sessions run 45–90 minutes and require free registration in advance through the NLB website or app.
This is one of Singapore's best-kept family activity secrets: free, high-quality, air-conditioned, educational, and available in every corner of the island. Check the NLB events page for the full schedule and register early as popular sessions fill up quickly.
