Kranji Marshes — Wetland Reserve & Raptor Tower

Kranji Marshes is one of Singapore's largest freshwater marshes, a 56.8-hectare wetland reserve of which 8 hectares are open to visitors. Families can spot raptors, herons and bitterns from hideout shelters along the trails, or climb the 15m-high Raptor Tower for a panoramic view over the marshes and reservoir — over 170 bird species have been recorded here.

Free entry and free parking (20 car lots), open 7am–7pm daily. Paths are stroller-friendly and wheelchair-accessible, except the Raptor Tower itself, which is stairs-only. NParks runs a free guided walk once a month on a Saturday evening. Pair with a visit to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve next door, or the farms of the Kranji Countryside, for a full day out.
