Jurong Lake Gardens — Lakeside Walks & Play
by NParks
🌿Outdoors & NatureSource: NParksAbout this Activity
Jurong Lake Gardens is one of Singapore's largest and most beautifully designed urban parks, stretching along the shores of Jurong Lake with 90 hectares of open green space, waterfront promenades, and nature gardens. It's a wonderful free West-side outing for families who want fresh air and open space.
Note: the Forest Ramble play areas (Snake Play and Otter Play) are currently closed for maintenance works — check the NParks website for the latest status before visiting if playgrounds are your main goal. The rest of the gardens, including lakeside walking trails, cycling paths, picnic lawns, and the Chinese and Japanese Garden precinct, remain fully open and enjoyable.
Free entry, no booking required. Best visited in the early morning or late afternoon to beat the heat.
