Reopened in September 2024 after a five-year renovation, the iconic Chinese and Japanese Garden precinct is now part of the expanded Jurong Lake Gardens and more beautiful than ever. The historic landmarks — the Grand Arch, Cloud Pagoda, Twin Pagoda, Bonsai Garden, Stoneboat, and Tea Pavilion — have all been meticulously restored and refurbished.
New additions include a spectacular aquatic garden featuring 150 varieties of water lilies, a Sunken Garden planted with 200 types of epiphytes, and new community pavilions. Bridges, arches, and winding paths make the garden endlessly explorable for kids, and the lake setting with turtles and fish adds natural magic.
Admission is free, parking is available nearby, and Chinese Garden MRT (EW25) is right at the entrance. A rare slice of classical garden beauty in Singapore's west — perfect for a slow Saturday morning with the family.
