Istana Open House

The Istana Open House welcomes the public onto the Istana grounds up to five times a year, with live performances and family-friendly activities. Entry is from 8.30am to 6.00pm (last entry 5.30pm) via the Main Gate on Orchard Road — no pre-registration needed. The Istana Main Building itself is currently closed for restoration.

Grounds admission is free for Singapore Citizens and PRs (including accompanying migrant domestic workers); other visitors pay $20 per adult and $10 per child aged 4 to 12. Entry into the Istana Villa costs extra: $2 per adult/child (4-12) for Citizens and PRs, or $10/$5 for other visitors.
