IMBA Theatre is Singapore's first venue dedicated to large-scale immersive art and cultural storytelling, opened at the West Lawn of Gardens by the Bay in April 2026. The 80,000-square-foot space features exhibition galleries, two black box theatres fitted with state-of-the-art projection and spatial audio, a retail store, and a wellness dining concept. Current exhibitions include David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (the Southeast Asia premiere of the Lightroom UK production presenting six decades of the artist's work, running until 31 August 2026), and Botero: A Life in Fullness (118 original works from the Botero family collection plus a 40-minute immersive audiovisual portrait narrated by the artist's son, running until 31 August 2026). The venue also houses the Prudential Experience Zone with interactive digital activities. Each exhibition is a separate ticketed experience.
